Reflection on presentations.

It puzzled me that there are so much differences between one country from another and the way people live. For example, Cyprus’s GDP per capita is US$ 21,000 while East Timor is only US$600. Generally, this means that if you live in Cyprus, you are more fortunate in a way than if you live in East Timor. In East Timor, the average person would only live on US$600 per year! Now, that doesn’t sound much at all .

I have learned that many countries suffer from alot of desises like Sudan and Nigeria. Diseases like aids etc. I also learned that Oman is quite a rich country because before I thought it wan’t really rich but I soon found out that it supports oil and its GDP per capita is US$13,000! Thats something that surprised me the most and through out this experience I really found all these facts interesting, thats why I want to give my thanks to Mrs.N for the spectacular lesson!
